chugging along...

On request here are some of the best pieces of graffiti I managed to uncover 'round Manchester...

What I am finding, that is helping immensely, is the sleep thing. I was trying to get eight solid hours a night but it wasn't enough. Seriously, I'd wake up and feel like I needed another 8 hours. But now I am having 10 hours lol. Seems greedy but it is keeping my energy levels up and me feeling like I bloody well should. I never ever thought I'd say this but I puffy heart early nights and early mornings. Last year I was going to bed at 2am and rising after lunch, clearly not working. Now I feel like it IS DEFINITELY working.

Yesterday, instead of splashing out on a subway sandwich, I made my own version. Grilled bacon, roast chicken, peppers, onions and mushrooms with a splash of extra light mayo and it didn't cost me three fricking pounds and it was delicious. Instead of eating out I am making my own packed lunches, that is new and I like it. I am making good decisions. Good decisions people.

I made a big batch of chilli last night. See? More good decisions. I am preparing for the week ahead. I feel so happy writing these kinds of posts. Seems the penny has finally dropped.

We quit eating out and have saved so much money. Plus you know what is in your food! I look on the web at the food in some of the resturants we like to go eat at and the same meal I can prepare for 130 calories, has 700 calories in it. So moral of the story, you are doing good! Keep making your own lunches!

What talented grafitti artists you have down your way - excellent stuff!

10 hours sleep! Gawd, I have been getting half that for the last month and I feel really crap at the moment.

Enough sleep really does help, you are right and I am so glad it is working for you - yay!

Home-prepped food is so much healthier and easier to control (and masses cheaper). Love how well you are doing right now!

Mmmmmm, chilli, nom nom nom...

Nice grafitti. I hate those taggers who just scribble crap! If you are going to deface public property, do it properly i say!

Good job on making your own "take out". Makes you feel heaps better huh?!

See Wii fit has an upgrade? Hopefully Santa will leave me one under the tree this year :o)

Sounds like your doing great with your meal planning! It really is cheaper and healthier to eat at home!

10 hrs of sleep is awesome. I am starting to make my own sandwiches, I need to figure out what kind of veggies to put on it.

Keep up the great work, Simone :)

Sounds like you are totally on a momentum wave! Way to go, I'm so excited to hear you this happy! As far as sleep goes, we all need different amounts at different times. Way to listen to your body! Oh, and my favorite graffiti is the little green snake or whatever in the middle one. So cute!
