My mam...

This post is dedicated to my dearest mamabear.

It is a month after her gastric operation and she has already lost what it took me a whole year to lose and already the change in her is immense. She has wore the same baggy extra wide clothes for the last twenty years that did nothing but make her look fatter.

Today we are going to have some of her nicer clothers altered. And then are going shopping. She hates it as much as I do but this week it doesn't seem so bad. I am so excited. Sunday night we cleared out her wardrobe. Kept things she can fit into and threw out all the hideous sack shaped clothes that are a million miles to big for her. It made me so happy. She hasn't worn a pair of jeans since she was like 16. She tried on mine and they fit. I actually cried with joy. There are no words for how happy this makes me. Finally she might have some semblance of her life back where she isn't afraid to venture out because she thinks shes too fat.

I must be honest I thought the operation was kind of cheating BUT I WAS WRONG. She lost over 2 stone(56 pounds) two years prior to tthe operation to show she was dedicated. The stress of her having the operation was just bad and the diet she is following so far is quite strict. I only have respect for her. During my sisters birthday tea party she was so strong. I could not be prouder. Things are moving in the right direction for both of us and I like.

I can't wait to take her swimming.
Or cycling.
She has promised to come visit me in Manchseter by herself.
To buy her her first pair of trousers/jeans!
And much much more!

Good times people.
