SERIOUS HELP NEEDED

Ok people. I have been a very bad blogger and for that I apologise. But the consequences have been bad for me. See those pictures? Apart from the coke I have practically been eating these every day on top of my main meals. EVERY DAY. How bad is that? I have never been so stressed as I have these last two weeks. I have one more exam left (on Wed) and I am driven to distraction with the stress. It is no excuse to eat like this though. Zero exercise too.

ok people I need your support and encouragement.
but I also need the TOUGH LOVE.

I'm sorry, but nothing any of us say can make you change what you are doing. It's completely up to you. You know that you don't really want that stuff, but you allow yourself to have it anyway. Until you decide it's enough and want to stop we can't help really. It's up to you. I hope you choose to stop though, because that crap isn't going to help. It's not making you less stressed even though it might seem to momentarily help. It just makes the situation worse because you will gain because of it. So, again, I hope you stop yourself.

Don't think I won't hop the pond and come bitchslap some sense into you, sister. Remember, I've got your address. Check yourself, or you very well might have to deal with an angry Mister Sh*t in the not-too-distant future...

Simone!!! Life is always going to get in the way but only YOU can control what goes in your mouth or how you deal with the stress. You have made progress in that you aren't just tossing in the towel after your indiscreations but you need to get cracking if you want to achieve any of your goals this summer. We love you sweetheart and want you to be healthy and happy!

P.S. I order you to get your Wii out NOW!!! xoxox

Dear Lovely UK That Girl,

You are going through finals. Concentrate on that. When you're done, I will help you clean house and get on track. I will kick your butt soon.

Now is not the time. Do what you have to do. Try to have an apple now and then. Maybe a salad. It will make you feel better. :)

I remember how insane the end of a semester can be. Hugs to ya.

I love these comments! :) I have been letting a health issue interfere with my gym time, and when I don't get to the gym, I don't pay attention to what goes in my mouth. (See also - lack of blogging). This tough love was great - now let's see if we can put it to good use! :)

Hand in day been and gone yet? Must be this week. Final Paper done yet? If my daughter is anything to go by, you are entitled to the stress bit. She has been doing the proverbial burn the midnight oil and then some, and has been the b*tch from hell for a month - but for her its over - almost.

I know the thing about not having time to feed yourself properly, and munching helping with concentration, and that might have been a sorta valid excuse, but times gone missy - and now you have a long hot summer ahead. Time to take bull by the horns again, dig deep - as deep as you have been doing the last month or two, and apply that considerabubble brain to taking care of you now, and not worrying about what Tutor's say.

Prioritise. What's more important right now? This last final, or losing weight? They aren't mutually exclusive, but it seems that's how you're operating. So either work out a way to do both, or concentrate on the more important one to you.

Eating those things doesn't make you a bad person worthy of scorn. You rock! Realise that and help yourself :) Now THAT's what you deserve.

It looks like you are on a wild sugar, caffine and junk fat rollercoaster! your blood sugar and mood must be bouncing. Don't add to your stress by thinking of strict dieting until after your exams, just try and eat good food, You have already proved you can lose weight later.
You could help your brain and body by making a few changes now though!
Try and get outside in the daylight at least 15 mins a day(improves mood) and try to do 30 mins exercise a day to burn up the stress hormones you will be producing (makes you feel better), this can just be 3 x 10 mins walk.
I know you are on a student budget but you are worth good food for your body and brain. Making your own simple meals and sandwiches can be cheaper too! Decide what you are going to eat until Wednesday night and shop for anything you need now so you are not tempted later. Aim to eat some sort of protein containing snack/meal every 3-4 hours (evens out your blood sugar and stops you craving a boost so much). Eggs are cheap and full of protein, quick and easy to boil, put in sandwiches and make into omlettes, sardines or beans on toast is great too, as is fish and chips so long as you leave most of the batter. Add veg where you can, eg. cuecumber, tomatoes and watercress or salad in sandwiches, and mushy peas with fish and chips, once you start thinking what can veg can I add it's easy. Swap the junk choc bars for omega-3(boosts you brain) trailmix (sunflower seeds, brazils, walnuts and dried fruit etc.) and good (e.g G&B) dark choc with nuts. Green tea is a better drink with caffine but if you must have the pop make it the diet version. To help you drop off if your brain is buzzing try lavender oil on the pillow/quilt and Chamomile tea, honey makes it taste better. I could suggest supplements but simplest thing I can recommend is eat "real" food which is food that is fresh, not processed, and that may go off and doesn't have a long list of additives and E numbers. If you have a local Market this will be lot cheaper than a supermarket for most meat/fish and fruit and veg.
Oops! I got a bit carried away with the amount of advice, hope it helps, I'm a long time lurker and think you rock.
