Feeling great...

I realised today just how much I do actually enjoy exercising and eating healthy. I went swimming today and we had to go the really deep pool because the regular pool was swamped with small kids. Me and my fat are not friends with small children. I never use the deep pool because when I can't reach the bottom I kind of panic and think I might drown. However, swimming with the kids was not an option. I couldn't take another small child pointing out the obvious. It turned out to be the best thing I ever did. The pool is longer as well as deeper. But because I couldn't touch the floor I had to swim the entire length with out stopping. I usually stop mid way because I'm lazy but I couldn't do that today or I'd drown. I swam more longer lengths than usual and feel absolutely great. Energetic and fresh.

My house mate went for a greasy breakfast fry up after and I wasn't even tempted to join her. Which made me all happy. Usually I'm so weak with that because she was all like 'I feel bad you're not eating, just have something' I didn't even fancy it, all I could smell was grease. Annnnndddd even though I only did 450 steps (i know, sheesh) up until 5 pm because I was revising and studying all day, I managed to claw my ten thousand steps back. Thank god for wii fit. I did all my stepping on that. I realised now I'm home I have to unlock everything from scratch and set all my records again. It kinda annoys me but in another way it gives me something fresh to work too.

Hope everyone else is feeling so great.

Wow, you are awesome! Is this the deep pool for evermore now? I hope so!

And well done for cramming all those extra steps in after 5pm, I am not sure I would have done so well.

Skipping the greasy breakfast was another massive achievement - well-flippin-done!

Well done on the swimming! That's awesome! Just remember, that if you're ever in trouble, just relax and lay back and you'll be cool, so there's no need to panic.

Hope you're having a good day.

What a lovely post to end the week on. :) It's so nice to hear you being your cheery and optimistic self again.

Just got back from my haircut ... and shopping. The new hair needed a new outfit. LOL Yeah, that's female logic.

It's hard to get steps in when studying, but glad you went at the Wii, too.

I enjoy that rush of a good workout and I'm developing the ability to turn down most cookies and some donuts...

But please tell me "a serving of pizza" is "one pizza"

I'm not a fan of kids at times. They can be cruel, but sometimes I do apreciate their ernest nature and short bursts of flat honesty.

Swimming without those little floaty duckies is just the foolsfitness way. -Alan

Yeah. Leave that greasy shit for your friend. Eat greasy shit when YOU want to, and not at someone else's guilt. It seems like people try to push food on others when they are having their own food issues... boo!

You are doing great! I love deep pools the most. The shallow ones are usually like dirty bathwater. Warm, soupy, dirty, and with floaters (hair clumps (I just made myself sick)).

Well done on the stepage and for resisting the grease. Not worth it and you did a great thing.

What a fab and positive day! Well impressed (I haven't ventured into a pool for a while - let alone gone out of my depth).

What is it with people encouraging you to eat shit to make them feel better? I have a couple of people in my life have a habit of that. It's a fantastic day when you have the strength for it not even to register. Yay you!!
