*slacker alert slacker alert*

Yesterday and today I've pretty much slacked exercise wise. No real excuses. I did spend four hours cleaning out two of my grans cupboards (omg she is such a hoarder... there were tins of food in there from like 2000) and I did go to the gym. But it was such a half arsed effort. I could feel I wasn't in to it properly. Also I did not do my week two day 2 c25k yesterday. It pissed it down all day and I thought that's OK I'll do it at the gym.... jogging on the treadmill did not work for me. I just couldn't do it. I felt like I was going to fall and the last time I fell off the treadmill I did not get back on one for like two years! (i had treadmill burn) so I chickened out. I have not got my 10k steps in either. I could have done my next c25k thing today but no. Stayed up til 3am playing some stupid face book farm game. but also talking to one of my favourite Texans. So all day I've felt sluggish 'cause I only got 6 hours sleep. I tried to step whilst watching America's biggest loser families but I just slumped in to my Mam's bed and thought fuck it. My water and food have been bang on though.

In fact I am reacquainting myself with lettuce. I hate salad leaves of any kind. But I have actually found I can now eat some lettuce. So I bought some and actively chose to put it one of my sandwiches. As small as this sounds its quite a big step. I have hated salad type stuffs for years and completely pulled it from any sandwich or meal I have ever ever had. NOT ANY MORE. So small victory for me.

I keep harping on about my shrinking belly but the change is REALLY DRAMATIC. and right now it is the only thing that is keeping me going. Yes, I have been sluggish these last two days but tomorrow it stops. Back on track, fully. No excuses. No whining. Just exercising.

Farmtown is Addictive!! lol good for you for sticking with the food and water parter that does help and what you have been doing is better than eating 2500-5000 calories and not doing anything else. Keep it up and you will get to where you want to be health wise. Pardon my ignorance but what is a c25k?

I have those slacker moods, too. I slacked Sunday, but got busy after that. Probably too busy as now I'm sore.

You kept the food and water up and half assed effort is better than no effort. So there's that.

Tell yourself it's just a mood and it will pass. That's what I do. It seems to help.

Congrats on the lettuce. Have you tried to use shredded cabbage instead? Or is that too venturesome for you? :)

How can you call your grans a whore? That's just so wrong. Really, you should... what? "Hoarder?"

Okay, but just be careful with the name-calling...

Sometimes getting rest is the best thing you can do for your diet.

...happy about your belly for you!

I have read that if you don't get enough sleep it can affect your weight loss efforts.

I know of the dramatic act your belly is performing. I recall noticing one day my belly button appeared to be FROWNING....odd for sure but it never frowned before, just sort of blankly stared gaping at me! Rock on with the changes and dont sweat being lazy a couple of days. I admire your workout consistency!!

I hate fucking lettuce. If I eat salad I eat it with cabbage. Red or green or both. Fantastic nutritionally, and doesn't give me the indigestion/burping/barfies.

I also can tolerate raw spinach in salads digestively, but still struggle a bit with it.

I have realized that a two day slackfuckfest won't kill your program if you get back on it- TOMORROW! DO IT!

I'm a slacker sometimes too. Eh.

I also skipped out on the day 2 of week 2. I totally got all ready to do it and then the bad rain hit here. I've already decided to redo week two next week so all is well. I'll just do it all again. Hopefully that will work out. :)

Get on it tomorrow. I want to hear reports of lots of exercise!

I didn't get to sleep till about 4 am either. Not fun. Oh well, c25k will always be there waiting :)

I don't always enjoy lettuce, but it's okay. I don't eat salad very often, but with the right dressing it can be delicious (often negating the health aspect of it :D).

You're gonna have to post some progress pics soon!

I am so pleased about the shrinking tummy - yay! Mine feels kind of odd too, sort of squisher, less firm? I dunno, different.

I feel as if my workouts are a bit lax at the moment too, it is only the C25K thing that is keeping me going. It has taken me a lot longer to get to week6 than a normal person, I think it may even have been 13 weeks since I first started (hangs head in shame), so don't feel too badly about it!

Flippin weather looks like shite at the weekend when I am off too. When will winter end??

You can rest assured that your name will end up in one of my stories. You have a great name. I have large casts in most of the novels, so I'm always on the hunt for names. Would you like to be a pirate? Your name would work well with the space pirates. Yes, I think I will use your name in the pirate story ...
