bits and um... pieces.

On the exercise front yesterday...still nothing special happened. I did my c25k bit and one small sports active one and i made it to 8 thousand steps. My eating... portion size, veg, water, all bang on. All calorie counted. I don't know why I'm not feeling it. I should be. The shrinking stomach should be pushing me further. It's raining again today. Sucky. Wanted to the third day c25k so I can get back to regular programming on Monday. *fingers crossed it picked up* the shitty gym I know go to has decided to shut on the weekend. AWESOME.

My parents are fighting. The atmosphere in the house is terrible. They're not speaking. In fact my dad slept on the couch in the lounge next to my air bed last night. He snores terrible. And the dog jumped into bed with me and took up half the space (my sister stayed out) I didn't have the heart to kick her out. So my sleep last night took a hit. But Wednesday night I got the perfect nights sleep. And what a difference it bloody does make.

I have felt the last couple of weeks is the hardest I have tried since starting this journey, even if the results have of July haven't supported this fact. I did notice though that July had the highest number of posts.... coincidence?....

I am doing a little challenge with myself. For so long I was eating the same breakfast day in and day out. Now I am trying to have something different everyday. OK people.... tell my your favourite breakfasts. INSPIRE ME.

I <3 instant porridge at the moment - a sachet is 220 cals and keeps me going til lunchtime.

Your house is just a madhouse, isn't it? How come you are so bright, funny, lovely and normal(ish)?

Good luck with the C25K. I just discovered how to keep the iPod dry on rainy runs. Der, it is so simple, turn the band around, so the iPod is inside your arm. It has taken me months to figure this out. I am seriously so thick!

Feckin raining a-bloody-gain here, hope its better down your way.

Poached egg! So yum! My flatmate taught me how to do it perfectly in the microwave. On high for 40 seconds, in a bowl of boiling water :)

Lots of posts = lots of commitment ... I think that's true & it'll show up on the scales & your body soon enough.
I just learned something from the from the above girls ... turning iPod around and poaching eggs in micro. cool.

Sports Active ... is that the Wii thing? I haven't taken mine out of the box yet. Prolly works better if you do eh?

SpunkySuzi posted a great breakfast ... banana split ...
banana, yogurt, strawberries, walnuts & sugar free chocolate sauce! NOM.
I usually have a mushroom omelette or a protein shake made with lots of fruit.
I'll do the oatmeal thing sometimes too.
I do love eggs so I would eat poached eggs on English muffins as well (if I still ate English muffins :D)
If there's leftovers, sometimes I'll even have that too.
I always make sure I have a protein with a carb though. The protein seems to stay with me longer.
Keep up the posting! August results will probably amaze you!

Egg white sandwiches! I scramble egg whites with a little cheese and put them on an English muffin. Or maybe you guys just call them Regular ol' Muffins over there on your side.

I didn't get your card yet, but now that I know you sent one, I'll definitely be on the look-out. Yay!

I do an eggwhite sandwich.

I get eggwhites in a carton. Spray a bowl with canola, dump in the egg and microwave for one minute. Put a small dish over the bowl to keep away spatter.

I toast 2 pieces of whole grain bread, slap on a slice of soy cheese, add my hot egg, then a spoonful of salsa. I cut in half.

I have fresh fruit with my sandwich and one cup of coffee with skim milk. I vary the fruit. Lately, it's strawberries and blueberries or figs and marion berries. Mmmm.

Maybe I should be more venturesome like you. But i likes me egg sammich.

I only eat one of two breakfasts generally.

Once a month, I make a big batch of breakfast burritos with eggs, potatos, onions, all sorts of peppers, garlic, cheese... plus whatever else is lying around. I make 'em and freeze them.

If I'm exercising, I just have an English muffin with almond butter and jelly.

Both of those are filling enough that I don't need a big midday meal.

I usually tend to eat the same breakfast too. My favorite is yogurt but my egg stir-fry ever fails.. check it out: http://she-fit.com/egg_beater_recipe/

Babes....so sorry about your home life. It's got to be tense. No sister last night though....was that a good or bad thing? lol

I usually have a low cal bagel with fat free ham and a peice of low fat cheese. With a bunch of WW cream cheese. Love this breafast. I can eat it on the run too.

Thanks for your sweet comments. I keep telling everyone if it starts to thunder and lightening, you best not stand by me....lol.

Babes....keep your chin up and never give up!

You have been reading about my smoothies (as un-interesting as that might be), and I used to think that I couldn't feel satisfied with a smoothie... I know better now- you might have to have a blender?

Great job on getting Week 2 done!

My favourite breakfast is 2 scrambled eggs with a little oregano on 2 slices of wholegrain toast. I have that pretty much every morning.

Sorry about your parents :( That's suckish.

I love eggs for breakfast-scrambled on toast with a little cheese for a sammie. Or scrambled with cheese and veggies for a burrito. Beans on toast is always good...and of course oatmeal-yum!
